Annie Gong is a Musician, Song Writer, Arranger & Vocalist originally from China.

She is a highly proficient accordion player, which is her favorite instrument and she has spent many years touring with the Tianjin Song and Dance Theatre, one of the large - scale, comprehensive, artistic and performing ensembles in China, consisting of the Tianjin Symphonic Orchestra, ballet, opera, Asian folk songs and dance.

She can cover a wide range of musical genres and has a modern approach to arrangements.  Annie now resides in New Zealand and over the last 2 years she has been passionately pursuing her desire to resurrect traditional Chinese Folk songs and record them in a modern context. In addition she has been equally engaged in writing and recording her own songs.

At this website, under the Asian Fusion (World Music) category, are some examples of this work for you to hear. She is hoping that there may be a demand for her style on the “World Music” scene hence the reason for contacting you to see if you would be interested in promoting her. If successful in the West, she is hoping that some interest may then follow in Asian countries. Her strength lies in her ability to take traditional Chinese Folk Songs and revitalize them with a 21st century feel with Western Style arrangements.
